Our standard 75kW industrial microwave generator, which operates at 929, 915 or 896 MHz, is the GET2024. This generator is the source of microwave power to hundreds of food production operations and is also used extensively for materials processing. The GET2024 is extremely popular on account of its durable design, reliability, safety features and cooking and tempering performance.
As a single self-contained microwave generator, it can provide power in the 5 kilowatt to 100 kilowatt range. The GET2024 generator is fully compatible with all other FMT industrial microwave equipment. When used in combination with other generators, power levels of up to 750 kilowatts can be achieved.

The Dependable Microwave Power Source
The GET2024 75kW microwave generator incorporates the latest in electronic and microwave technology. It is a proven, rugged, and dependable generator that provides reliable and safe operation in various applications – from microwave drying to frozen food tempering.
The power for FMT industrial microwave ovens is supplied by the GET2024. Each generator is electrically isolated from the process oven by a built-in microwave circulator. This isolation process is critical in extending the life of magnetron tubes.
Given its versatility, the GET2024 can be positioned directly adjacent to, above or below an applicator cavity. As an efficient waveguide power transmitter, it is possible to install the generator in a remote location.
Generator control is based on use of a local or remote, via block I/O, Allen-Bradley PLC. The GET2024 offers precise control of filament amps based on microwave power. This will ensure maximum magnetron tube life, given consideration of tube manufacturer’s amperage recommendations.
All controls for typical generator operation are found on the front of the enclosure, though remote control panel operation is possible. This ensures consistent, uniform, and efficient operation.
FMT microwave generators are water cooled through a heat exchanger using city or local water supply. The cooling system includes a one-inch inflow and outflow pipe. Depending upon the temperature of the water entering the heat exchanger, the flow rates will vary.
